Who We Are
Welcome to Upper Keys Business and Professional Women (Upper Keys BPW). We are a not-for-profit, nonpartisan, volunteer-led membership organization open to all who support our mission of achieving equity for working women.
As a local affiliate of BPW Florida, we come together for the benefit of our members and our community. For nearly 70 years, Upper Keys BPW has made a difference in the lives of working women and their families in the Upper Florida Keys.

Our MissionThe BPW mission is to achieve equity for all working women through advocacy, education and connections. We seek to empower the women in our community to reach their full potential. We accomplish this by creating opportunities for personal and professional growth, providing scholarships to adult women in support of their education and career advancement, and advocating for issues that matter to working women and their families.The National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs was founded in July 1919 and has a long history of notable achievements on behalf of women. Every working woman has benefited from the organization's efforts in education, scholarship, public policy, equal pay and lobbying for women's rights.Email AdvertisingGot a job opening you need to fill? A new service or product to promote? An event you want to get the word out about? Send an email to our active mailing list of more than 400 members and local residents. BPW/FL PUBLIC POLICY PLATFORM 1. Economic Equity, 2. Health Care 3. Voting Rights & Access The BPW/FL Public Policy Platform is reviewed each year by the state Public Policy Committee and any proposed changes are presented for adoption at the annual state conference. If you are passionate about these issues and their impact on working women, consider joining the BPW Public Policy Committee at the local and/or state level.
