2022 Business of the Year: Sandbar Books Sandbar Books was recognized for bringing to our community a welcome alternative to online shopping for books and last-minute gifts. Owned by Becky Washam, this relatively new business quickly became a destination for book clubs, children's events and other community gatherings. In the words of one nominator, "Sandbar Books is a wonderful local business and we are thrilled to have them as part of our community!" |
2021 Business of the Year: Doc's Diner Doc's Diner was recognized as a "Keys classic" -- a place for locals where they always remember your face and repeat guests quickly become family. Doc's employs a strong group of woman and supports many local nonprofits and community organizations throughout the Keys, including the Rotary Club. Owner Gina Boilini served on the BPW Board of Directors for many years, including as President. |
