Happy New Year!
Have you set your personal, professional, or business goals for 2025 yet?
As someone who’s always diving into self-improvement books and podcasts, I’m constantly looking for smarter ways to tackle challenges and grow. January is my favorite time to turn inspiration into actionable goals!
For example, one January, I committed to daily meditation after reading about its benefits. Before I knew it I’d meditated for over 300 days in a row! It’s proof that small, consistent actions can lead to big results.
When it comes to achieving professional and business goals, it’s all about collaboration. Working with others not only strengthens our networks but also builds the skills, experience, and confidence needed to achieve big dreams — whether it’s landing a promotion, exceeding sales targets, or launching something new.
That’s where BPW can help you reach new heights in 2025.
Here’s how we can support your goals this year:
- Grow Your Business or Organization: Advertise to our active network of nearly 500 local contacts or sponsor one of our monthly events for greater visibility in the Upper Keys.
- Advance Your Career: Whether you’re hiring or job-hunting, our events are filled with people who are well-connected across the Keys.
- Invest in Education: Look for BPW Professional Development workshops this year. Or if you need a boost for certifications or degree progress, our Women’s Scholarship Program opens for applications in April.
- Build Leadership Experience: Join one of our BPW committees or take on a Board position. It’s a fantastic way to advocate for equity and hone your leadership skills.
- Have Fun & Connect: Whether it’s a Garden Walk, movie night, or casual meet-up, we’ll have plenty of ways to mix fun with networking this year.
Why not get started with our January 15 Luncheon? All are welcome to attend. You'll learn more about BPW and this month's topic: "Empowering Education - Building Bridges Between our Schools and Community" from leaders of our Monroe County school system.
Remember, if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.
Let’s make 2025 the year we achieve more together with BPW!

In case you missed it...
On December 18, BPW members and friends gathered one last time in 2024 for our annual Holiday Party. The mood was festive, the food was plentiful and the "tacky ornament exchange" was especially tacky! Huge thanks to Marine Lab for hosting us again this year. See more photos here.
